In this issue, we will tell you what to do if you get an error message when adding an eSIM.

*The display may be different depending on your country/region.

Causes of the above error message

1. Device is not connected to the Internet
2. When the connection environment is unstable
3. eSIM has already been added and eSIM cannot be re-added
4. Too many eSIMs are installed
5. The eSIM lock has not been removed

 

【To resolve】

1. [ Settings ] > [ Celluar ] to see if you have an added SIM
2. Make sure you are in a good data connection environment
3. After checking 1 and 2, add the eSIM to the device again
4. If the error message appears again, please contact our contact person
5. For information on how to unlock the SIM lock, please contact the contracted carrier where you purchased the cell phone

 

Even if you receive an error message while adding an eSIM, an eSIM may already have been added. Please check once by the following method.

 

【How to check for an added eSIM】

Settings > Celluar

There is an eSIM added to the SIM section other than "Main Line".
Initially named "Work, Personal, Travel etc..." and is named "Work, Personal, Travel, etc...".

The name of the added eSIM can be changed.

Please check the above settings even if you receive an error message.
